Welcome to Monument Recovery. We founded our program because we believe, and know from experience, that recovery is possible for anyone. What’s more, finding the tools to live a healthy, meaningful life can change the entire trajectory of someone’s path. We are honored to play a small part in that transformation for so many men and women. Let us help you.
If you or a loved one is facing the challenges of substance use and mental health issues, you’ve taken an important step by seeking help. We understand how overwhelming it can feel navigating addiction, mental health struggles, and the uncertainty of what lies ahead. But here at Monument Recovery, we believe in your potential to overcome these challenges and build a life filled with hope, health, and purpose.
At Monument Recovery, our mission is simple yet profound: to provide compassionate, individualized treatment for those struggling with substance use and mental health challenges, empowering them to reclaim their lives and reach their full potential.
Through our comprehensive, evidence-based treatment programs, we help individuals break free from addiction; but also, we equip them with the tools, skills, and support needed to create lasting, positive change.
Life is full of defining moments. Times when choices, challenges, and experiences shape the path ahead. When substance use or mental health issues take hold, they can disrupt every aspect of life, from relationships and career goals to overall well-being. Recovery offers a chance to regain control, rebuild stability, and move forward with confidence, resilience, and renewed purpose.
01
Recovery is not just about eliminating substances or managing symptoms. Our holistic approach to mind, body, and spirit healing ensures that we address every aspect of a person’s well-being, through yoga, meditation, and more.
02
Our programs are grounded in proven, research-backed treatment modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to ensure our clients are provided the lastest advancements in treatment.
03
Peer support can make the difference in the recovery process. We foster a strong sense of community at Monument, helping clients connect with others who can understand their experiences, share their struggles, and celebrate their successes.
04
Recovery is a journey, not a one-time event. We help our clients build a strong foundation for long-term recovery by equipping them with the coping skills, life tools, and support systems needed to maintain sobriety and wellness throughout their lives.
There is no one-size-fits-all solution to recovery. That’s why we offer a range of personalized, flexible treatment options designed to meet the unique needs of all people. Our programs address both substance use and its underlying causes. Get to know our programs.
Residential treatment is the most comprehensive way to build a solid foundation for lasting recovery. Clients receive 24/7 support and care from a clinical team of experienced, licensed therapists, psychiatrists, and counselors, along with recovery mentors who provide unwavering support.
PHP is ideal for the individual who requires a higher level of care than IOP, but does not need the full 24/7 support of residential treatment. PHP provides structured, intensive treatment during the day, allowing participants to return to recovery-supportive housing in the evenings, where they continue their recovery.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a flexible treatment option for those who need structured support while tackling daily responsibilities. IOP includes several sessions of treatment each week, including one-on-one counseling, group therapy sessions, and holistic treatments like meditation in our zen room.
Recovery doesn’t end when formal treatment does. That’s why we offer comprehensive aftercare planning designed to support clients as they transition back to society. In addition, the vibrant Monument Recovery Alumni Program helps individuals stay connected to our community long after they’ve completed treatment.
Founder & CEO
JP founded Monument Recovery in 2022 driven by a passion to help others recover from Substance Abuse and mental health disorders. JP is a Phoenix native and enjoys spending his off hours nurturing his golf and hiking habits. He got sober in 2010 and is a true believer in the partnering of trauma therapy and physical wellness with 12 step work to recover, which is the foundation of Monument’s curriculum. JP finds his fulfillment in life connecting with other addicts, whether that be in step work, in a group setting, or just a chat in his office. His door is always open to all clients!
Co-Founder & COO
Greg was born and raised in the vibrant city of Denver, Colorado, and spent his twenties embracing the exhilarating life of a snowboard bum in Vail. During that time, he also faced the challenges of addiction. In 2017, he made a pivotal move to Phoenix, where he was welcomed into a supportive sober community that has been instrumental in his journey to maintaining nine years of sobriety.
Fueled by a passion for helping others and a desire to find true purpose in his life, Greg became one of Monument’s first investors and co-founders. His commitment to recovery and community led him to a role where he could make a real difference.
When he is not at Monument, Greg can often be found enjoying the great outdoors—whether it is hitting the golf course, traveling to new destinations, exploring nature, or occasionally returning to the slopes to snowboard. After years in corporate sales, he realized that fulfillment came from aligning his work with his values, and he embraced the opportunity to join Monument full-time as the Chief Operating Officer.
Greg is excited to be part of this incredible team and to contribute to the mission of supporting others on their recovery journeys!
