Treatment for Young Adults in Arizona
About Monument Recovery
Welcome to Monument Recovery. We founded our program because we believe — and know from experience — that recovery is possible for anyone. What’s more, finding the tools to live a healthy, meaningful life as a young adult can change the entire trajectory of someone’s life. We are honored to play a small part in that transformation for so many young men and women. Let us help you.
If you or a loved one is facing the challenges of substance use and mental health issues, you’ve taken an important step by seeking help. We understand how overwhelming it can feel navigating addiction, mental health struggles, and the uncertainty of what lies ahead. But here at Monument Recovery, we believe in your potential to overcome these challenges and build a life filled with hope, health, and purpose.
Empowering Young Adults in Recovery
At Monument Recovery, our mission is simple yet profound: to provide compassionate, individualized treatment for young adults struggling with substance use and mental health challenges, empowering them to reclaim their lives and reach their full potential.
Through our comprehensive, evidence-based treatment programs, we help individuals break free from addiction; but also, we equip them with the tools, skills, and support needed to create lasting, positive change.
Young adulthood is a pivotal time in life — a time when decisions, habits, and experiences shape the future. When substance use and mental health issues take hold during this critical period, they can derail personal growth, relationships, education, and career aspirations. In recovery, young adults can regain control of their lives and move forward with confidence, resilience, and a renewed sense of purpose.
We Are Committed To:
A Holistic Approach
Recovery is not just about eliminating substances or managing symptoms. Our holistic approach to mind, body, and spirit healing ensures that we address every aspect of a person’s well-being, through yoga, meditation, and more.
Evidence-Based Care
Our programs are grounded in proven, research-backed treatment modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Building Community
Peer support can make the difference in the recovery process. We foster a strong sense of community within our young adult programs, helping clients connect with others who can understand their experiences, share their struggles, and celebrate their successes.
Long-Term Recovery
Recovery is a journey, not a one-time event. We help young adults build a strong foundation for long-term recovery by equipping them with the coping skills, life tools, and support systems they need to maintain sobriety and mental wellness throughout their lives.
Comprehensive Young Adult Treatment
There is no one-size-fits-all solution to recovery. That’s why we offer a range of personalized, flexible treatment options designed to meet the unique needs of all young adults. Our programs address both substance use and its underlying causes. Get to know our programs.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a flexible treatment option for young adults who need structured support while tackling daily responsibilities, such as work or school. IOP includes several sessions of treatment each week, including one-on-one counseling, group therapy sessions, and holistic treatments like meditation in our zen room.
IOP is an excellent choice for young adults stepping down from more intensive care or for those seeking a higher level of support than traditional outpatient therapy provides. It allows participants to apply the skills they’ve learned in treatment to real-life situations while still receiving guidance and support from our clinical team.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
PHP is ideal for young adults who require a higher level of care than IOP, but do not need the full 24/7 support of residential treatment. PHP provides structured, intensive treatment during the day, allowing participants to return to recovery-supportive housing in the evenings. This setup provides a balance of comprehensive care and real-world independence, helping young adults begin rebuilding their lives while still receiving the support they need.
PHP at Monument Recovery includes individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, life skills training, and experiential therapies that address both substance use and mental health conditions. This program is especially beneficial for individuals transitioning out of residential care or those needing more than outpatient support.
Residential Treatment
Residential treatment is the most comprehensive way to build a solid foundation for lasting recovery. Clients receive 24/7 support and care from a clinical team of licensed therapists, psychiatrists, and counselors who are experienced in treating young adults, along with recovery mentors who provide unwavering support.
Aftercare and Alumni Services
Recovery doesn’t end when formal treatment does. That’s why we offer comprehensive aftercare planning services designed to support young adults as they transition back to independent living.
In addition, the vibrant Monument Recovery Alumni Program helps individuals stay connected to our local community long after they’ve completed treatment. Through alumni events, check-ins, and ongoing support, we provide a lifeline of connection, encouragement, and accountability that helps reinforce long-term recovery.
A Home Away from Home
We know that seeking help for substance use can be difficult. Our welcoming, supportive environment was created to help all clients feel safe, understood, and respected from their first day in our community.
